Shot 2 – Cloth Fuzz
Here are some groom tests from today:
Notes:
We think that slightly shorter hair with increased density will have the best result
Will increase frizz
Will fix shader issues in the Karma Hair shader
Long Hair + Increased Width + High Density
Long Hair + Increased Width + Medium Density

Shot 2 – Embroidery Feedback
Today in class, John Montefusco from Framestore was visiting and provided some more feedback on our project! Based on today’s feedback my team and I will continue refining out project. For shot 2, Ella will update the lighting and I will work on the groom and render it!
Shot 2 Feedback:
Shot 2 doesn’t feel as soft as shot 1 (weaving)
Make groom more visible
Make lighting brighter on the whole front of the cloth and gradually fade, rather than the very harsh highlight
Shot 1 Feedback:
Make Shot 1 (lighting) feel more like it is part of the rest of the project – warmer
Shot 6 Feedback:
Shot 6 (Comforter) color should be slightly more magenta to match Shot 7 (Bedroom)

Feedback – Week 8 Review
Feedback from Mentors:
Kyle:
Shot 7 – Subtle comforter movement is good
Shot 1 – lighting is dull, make it brighter
Shot 1 – lighting is cooler compared to other shots, make it warmer
Shot 2 – shallower DOF and add motion blur
Shot 4 + 5A – Shadows are too black, brighten up
Shot 4 – add some depth of field
Shot 6 – the bed is still glowing too much
Shot 7 – fixes to the window color need to be made, it looks like it is snowing outside
Shot 7 – the camera move stops at the end, have it continue
Beck:
Shot 7 – the blanket is already there even though the settling is continuing from the shot before (where there is no blanket), add throw blanket to shot 6
Shot 1 – what material is it meant to be? Make it match the white color from the sheets
Hailey
Shot 6 – Address values, especially near the art on the wall
The new font works much better, blur the drop shadow more
Shot 7 – keep leaves gobo consistent from shot 6 to 7 (make it more visible in shot 7)
Molly:
Shot 4 + 5A – The background is too dark compared to the walls of the room in shots 6 and 7
Shot 7 – The lens flare looks good
Shot 6 – The mattress looks like butter
Shot 6 – Mattress corners are too sharp and there should be edge cloth texture
Billy
Make paintings on the wall much bigger/ add a second 1 – luxury hotel rooms tend to have this
