Shot 2 – Embroidery Render Test
Updated Cloth movement +Groom + Lighting Tests:
Notes:
Make groom shorter + Denser
Lighting is too flat, increase contrast with lowering fill
Since the last test, I wanted to make the scale of the thread feel more realistic compared to the cloth movement, so I made the embroidery smaller and thinner

Shot 2 – Emrboidery
Embroidery Cloth Movement Tests:
Test #1:
seeing the corner makes composition feel odd
Test #2:
the folds + seeing the background makes it interesting
Test #3:
Cloth shouldn’t fold over each other, it will take focus away from the embroidery

Cloth motion feels too repetitive

Feedback from Mentors:
Kyle:
Editing Notes:
Shot 1 (Weaving) – Shorten
Shot 2 (Embroidery) – Shorten
Shot 4 (Sheet) – Trim before it leaves frame
Shot 6 (Comforter) – Make end longer, start later (we look at the empty mattress for too long)
Shot 7 (Bedroom) – Make movement continue longer and more graceful, it stops too abrupt
Lighting/Color:
Make sure color grade is the same throughout each shot
Warmer lighting on all
Quilt – make sure whites are the same throughout shots
Shot 1 – Lighting too flat
Shot 7 – Window light should be the brightest and overexposed
Beck:
Shot 2 (Embroidery) :
Speed up thread movement
Shot 4 (Sheet):
The wrinkles are too sharp/ bubbly – smooth out with Delta Mush
Shot 6 (Comforter):
Lower stiff constriants
Less rigid struts for more sinking
Hailey:
Lighting should have more contrast
Emma:
Billy:
Make it clear whether the lighting is morning or sunset
