Shot 2 – Embroidery Render Test

Updated Cloth movement +Groom + Lighting Tests:

Notes:

  • Make groom shorter + Denser
  • Lighting is too flat, increase contrast with lowering fill
  • Since the last test, I wanted to make the scale of the thread feel more realistic compared to the cloth movement, so I made the embroidery smaller and thinner

Shot 2 – Emrboidery

Embroidery Cloth Movement Tests:

Test #1:

  • seeing the corner makes composition feel odd

Test #2:

  • the folds + seeing the background makes it interesting

Test #3:

  • Cloth shouldn’t fold over each other, it will take focus away from the embroidery

Test #4:

  • Cloth motion feels too repetitive
